Traffic Court?

I made a court date for a traffic ticket I recieved. Because I am a Paramedic I cannot have two more points on my license without getting fired/terminated. When I called in and made the date I asked the court clerk about taking a defesive driving course instead of getting the points on my license. The court clerk said I needed to talk to the prosucuter about taking driver improvement class or pleaing to a ticket that had no points to it. What are the chances that I can take a defenseive driving course or pleading to another ticket without the points?? And if I did take a difensive driving course will it show up on my driving record?
Reply:
No matter what you do the ticket and points would show up on your motor vehicle record. If the prosecutor allows you to take a defensive driving class the course would not show up on your record until it is completed and the points should be removed at that time.

A motions hearing is where you present motions to the judge – usually for mistrial, dismissal or other ‘technicality’.

Some people must understand that there is a difference between freedom and doing whatever you feel like. I’m pro 2nd amendment. I believe that every American trained in the use of firearms should have a right to both conceal and open carry in public. That’s a basic right. Going 24 mph over the speed limit is not a right as it endangerers every other motorist on the road. Not standing up just makes him look arrogant. It’s Live Free or Die, not act like an idiot or die.

the police force is a private corporation, same for the courts.
