My California driver’s license was suspended in May of last year for not having insurance and getting into an accident, where my car was totaled. My lawyer went to court for me, and they just asked that I showed proof of insurance for my other car, just to show that I had some form of insurance. The charge for not having insurance was dismissed. Since the charge was dismissed by the county court, does that mean that I can go through some process to get my license unsuspended?

I am trying to enlist, but my driver’s license is suspended till August. Is this a problem? If it is a problem to get processed and enter MEPS, I don’t want to wait until August, so should I hire a lawyer to obtain my license again?
