I would be careful about mentioning that the other professor is hard to follow. You may be right, but remember that these people work together. I would focus on the positive things you have heard about his class and if he asks you why you want to drop the other one, keep it upbeat and just reiterate that all your friends say he's the best at explaining calculus and, having been in his classroom for lecture, that you agree with them.

Yes, they're unlikely to refuse your visa application for that type of offence unless you were sentenced to more than 12 months imprisonment.

Make sure you tell the whole truth on your application because if you don't and the conviction turns up now or at some later date, it will cause major problems e.g. you later decide you would like to migrate or you fall in love with an Aussie and want a partner visa – police clearances are required for both and a lie now will ruin your chances of either.

To set your mind at rest, check out the Character Requirement for Australian visas and you'll see that disclosure is most unlikely to stop your visa being granted:

You really wont be able to tell until you go to the game, if they turn out to be counterfit file a complaint with whatever service you used to purcahse them online if it was ebay or stubhub and the person will be banned. Sometime the text does look where on tickets though, I received some last year like that as well. The only way you will know is when you go to the game.
